VeloGhost ships every day. This is the broadcast log — what changed, when, and why. Tune in tomorrow for the next transmission.
The 3D flyby feature was unavailable in the published app — the Mapbox token was never reaching the browser. The signal is now live and flyby renders as expected. When no token is present, the app surfaces a clear notice instead of failing silently.
Shot analysis identifies your ride's highlights, matches the best overlay layout to each moment, and renders the result as a burned-in MP4 — no manual timing required. Export progress appears next to the button so you can see exactly where the render stands.
The full-package MOV adds a dedicated 3D elevation profile segment between the title intro and the main overlay. Choose a sweep duration of 3, 4, or 5 seconds (4 s default) — the segment closes with a 2-second animation and a 3-second hold, matching the standalone profile sequence frame for frame.
A rendering issue caused Mapbox GL to produce identical static frames when the map canvas was positioned off-screen — turning the entire flyby into a still image. The canvas is now placed on-screen at zero opacity, and the frame-ready signal waits for a true render-idle event, so every exported frame reflects the correct camera position.
All 3D Map Flyby exports were producing a ~2.5 GB MOV of the same static image. Every frame now captures a unique, animated map position.
A mismatch between two Pro-detection paths left the 3D Map Flyby and Full Package buttons showing a lock icon during the free trial period, even after the rest of the app was fully unlocked. Both paths are now aligned — every Pro feature broadcasts without restriction during trial.
When exporting clips in batch sync mode, the Time tile counted from 0:00 within each clip rather than showing elapsed time across the full ride, and the Map tile drew only the clip's segment of the route. Both tiles now match highlight export behavior — absolute ride clock and full-route map for every clip.
Wind overlay, aerodynamic metrics, and Resolve export are fully on air from day one of your trial. A "FREE TRIAL · Pro unlocked" badge in the header confirms the status in all three languages — no features held back.
A real-world FIT file with a dead barometric sensor was producing 851,411 m of reported gain — a number the app now catches and flags rather than broadcasting silently.
The cinematic flyby intro renders at 60 fps, removing the stutter that appeared during fast camera moves on short durations. An 8-second option has been added and set as the new default — tight, punchy, and broadcast-ready.
A dedicated Field Guide section is now indexed and reachable from the main navigation. Five themed articles — covering alternatives, workflow integrations, and ride video production — are publicly available across EN, JA, and PT.
Every header link on the Japanese marketing site now displays in Japanese. On screens 1024 px and narrower, the navigation hides automatically — eliminating a layout issue where CJK character widths caused items to stack vertically.
Eleven sections stacked vertically made scrolling tedious. Quick Nav removes that friction entirely.
The Map Position panel now includes an opacity slider for the map background. Pull it to zero to remove the card entirely, or blend it into your HUD at any level.
In the Highlights and Export panels, bold text in Japanese now stays inline — no more isolated line breaks in narrow panel widths.
The Privacy Policy (effective 2026-05-13) now documents analytics data collection, the service providers involved, and how to opt out. No new categories of personal data are collected beyond what the policy describes.
← / →.Closing the Strava gap doesn't need cluster detection or back-solving — just one knob with real tactile feel. When you want "that moment" to line up with the Strava number, the dial is right there.

Yellow is the universal language of effort. VeloGhost is a tool for visualizing effort. Now the cockpit says so out loud.

Real-time CdA estimation with the power equation visible behind it. The math is the show.
Full Package now stitches intro → ride → outro into a single export.
